This is near downtown Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan. Not exactly what I’d call a nice place to visit. A photo I shot while on a convoy through Kabul to Camp Julien, #8 in the series.
My wife and I were out at the Lowry Park Zoo, in Tampa, FL. The best part of this photo is in the details, you can pick out each individual strand in its feathers.
The interesting thing about this photo is how quiet it looks here. This view is actually from the old post-office tower. With the dark contrasts and bare trees from the winter it gives this photo an interesting feel.
